I feel you, I'm in the same boat, got 20 pounds to lose and just wanna gain my strength back




Did the first hr and 15 min of this last night






Only thing I wasn't able to keep up with him on was the push-ups. He did 250, I did 100.

Everything else I stayed with him. Pushed myself to the brink tho. Had never went this hard before.

Should I increase my reps on dips or start doing weighted dips.

Right now, I'm cool doing 3 x 6 maybe 4 x 6 but I'm planning on losing some lbs and figure these will get a little easier.

Trying to decide whether to add weights once 10 reps/set gets boring or up the reps a bit longer.

Right now, I'm cool doing 3 x 6 maybe 4 x 6 but I'm planning on losing some lbs and figure these will get a little easier.

Trying to decide whether to add weights once 10 reps/set gets boring or up the reps a bit longer.

I'd probably start doing weighted dips once sets of 10-12 become :unimpressed: status.

Make sure your form is forreal though. So many horror stories of dips gone wrong outchea. :merchant:

That and make sure the reps are clean and controlled . If they are rapid fire with hardly any ROM and you aren’t driving back through your elbows then you need not add weight @IsThatBrothaMouzone?

Maintenance is roughly 3400 according to one calculator and 2800 on another

I’m somewhere near 182 which is at least ten pounds from when I started right after my vacation where I ain’t count one calorie

That's pretty good for a Sunday if I'm working Monday. Back during GoT or during football season it's not uncommon for me to clock less than 3. :beli:

Today is the ten year anniversary of when I first started regularly going to the gym (8/2/2011-8/2/2021). :wow::lift:

Never thought I would have stuck with it this long. Figured I would have burned out after a few months. :heh:

Im about 2 weeks away from my first year and i look fukkin great i can only imagine what another 9 got damn years would do :mjcry:
