My take on functional strenf is this, we tailor our workouts (or should) towards what we're going to use our muscles for. There's weight strong country skrong and e.t.c
We ALLLLL know a push up warrior but struggles with anything over 135 on bench and vice versa

I think functional strength can be taken out context. Movements like squats, Deads and overhead press are functional movements to every day life IMO.

Did you buy the snake juice or did you make it?
Did you feel hungry or lightheaded during the fasting periods?

I did a 48 hour water only fast, I was trying to go 72 but I was blew out.
So this is what I’ve learned about my body during the last two weeks .


Snake juice helps like shyt but what’s really good is working out it helps with the loopy and dizzy spells .

Carbs and sugar are big no’s on refeed days .


All protein and veggies I don’t even count calories . I let me body tell me when I’ve had enough food .


Every refeed it’s been less and less food .


I do only water fast

I'd have to change my workouts completely
Everything is High intensity low rest plus the conditioning of my muay and catch wrestling/ combat sambo training
Nahh snake diet my guy shyt wavy .


What do you do for training during fasts?
I did full body all week then on my refeed day I went ham .

Shoulder, chest and back .


Some of my best work outs been while fast .


I only do 60% of my max with high volume on fasting days . It’s more like circuit training so not much breaks .

Refeed day I go very heavy close to my max .


The weekends starting today I’m going to jump rope . Twenty min session is all i need .

I don’t do nothing crazy right now I’m mostly using the machines during the week because of circuit training .


I’m more concerned about loosing weight and retaining muscle .


I only go heavy in refeed days .

I’ll be back to maintaining my weight and keep moving like I was before quarantine .


I’m tryna see how small I can get with fasting and how quick it can happen .


I love it breh I wake up so refreshed !!!

Also because I’m not going so heavy I don’t wake up in pain .

How we doing so far almost 1 month down in '21?
What POWDA we using?
Right now im on muscle tech. It lasts longer but im constantly on the hot damn toilet.
Im maintaining weight 260-265 my heaviest.
I need resistant bands though for home workout and def need either a pull up bar set up or dumbbells soon

Okay, that makes more sense. I don't know anyone putting up big weights without carbs (not saying it can't be done).

Makes sense that it's not that barbell medicine but machine intervention.

Still clocking in at 203-207. :upsetfavre: Still cycling Total War, Mr. Hyde, and Prolific.
Something in the Total War might have me fukked up, so Imma see and prolly bush it for something else. :sadcam:

Front squat and back squat improving but my knees are toastki. :manny:

Should have PRs on all lifts again in the next 4-5 weeks. :win:
