Yeah. I see flashes, but Baylor is just tough on defense.
Yeah, but I guess a loss vs Baylor can show them where they are at. They wont play vs a better defense all yr.

Baylor is just straight Ding up guys one on one, but I think the ball stopping and stymied transition Illinois has been forced into...I can't see that occurring with Gonzaga. idk, either way this is the matchup the sport needs

I said earlier in this thread that this Baylor game would show us whether Illinois is more flash or more substance ... and we see it’s the former ... still alotta season left but the coaching staff is gonna have to get in their bag for real to get this Illinois team to a F4 level . The potential is still there tho .
So I guess we have a first real “game of the year” Saturday . Zags resume already looking a1
... if they win this game they’re MADE. Iowa would be the only test left, so that overall number one seed is already well within reach, barring illness, injury or season shutdown .
Baylor wins this and they’re sitting really good too ... their schedule is tougher so theyre prob def feeling motivated to take a huge win like this into Big12 gauntlet .
Didn’t get to see enough of Baylor to make a prediction .
but I could def tell they’re disciplined and committed defensively

Yeah those transfers spoke volumes ... and put a dent in his possible continued tenure there . I’m not seeing any redeeming qualities for this squad right now .
I still think Pat will turn it around. It didn’t say much in the video but Patrick really coached his ass off last season and had GT In games last year they had no business being in last year
