Random College Basketball Thoughts: 2019-20

Garza deserves all his props for making a team competitive in the hardest conference in the game, thats true. But Obi was just the most interesting person to watch play the sport the whole season. Was he so much more entertaining than anyone else? nah not really. But having those guys that can elevate the entertainment value of the whole sport, I think those guys are going to start receiving more accolades like this.

I wouldn’t go that far but Bruce’s system begins and ends with guards. Having the smartest facilitating PG and the purest scoring 2 guard definitely fits those needsI think Sharife has vision comparable to Jared Harper which excites me

I think every bit of numbers when you consider opponents played would favor Garza. I don’t know how to word this but Obi as an individual is more impressive than Luke, while what Luke did for his team is more impressive than who Dayton had to play.

I’m still sad on missing out on breh cause of the NCAA smacking us up. His scoring still ain’t where it should and idk if he ever lived up to the hype but he’s a smart guy and a crazy good defender anyone woulda wanted

If Bama gets Bruner and everyone comes back besides Kira then we're gonna be better than Auburn next year.

Eh without all the injuries and games we gave away we could have had a much different season.

There is a lot of JUCO and grad transfer talent this year, nothing wrong with going that route. Keon Ellis is a stud he was the 2nd best JUCO player this year behind a guy who's about to be a 1st round pick. And all of the top teams are going after Jordan Bruner from Yale. Plus we got Primo and Ambrose the two best recruits from Canada who are going to contribute right away. And Jahvon Quinerly who had to sit out this year is basically another 5 star recruit for us in this class and our best recruit from last year Juwan Gary tore his ACL and didn't play so add him as well. If we only lose Kira we're gonna be loaded, I think Petty might take his chances with the draft too though.

Bruner is the real key, going from 0 big man presence to someone like him would be a huge upgrade
