At least okoro gives you offense other than FTs. Seeing Jvon and Samir only be able to get to the stripe and miss 2-4 on a game basis (AS fukkING GUARDS) sickens me more and more

We had great guard play last year. We're lacking this year. Can't keep starting games slow. Our guards and Okeke carried us to the Final Four last year. The scoring isn't there this year. This game is what I was expecting to see before the season started. I thought we'd have a few more losses by this point. But if we go out Saturday and beat Florida this will be an after thought. We can move on and keep grinding. We need the Seniors to step up for real. Purifoy, Doughty, and J'von need to be dependable to get consistent scoring. Right now, I don't feel comfortable depending on any of them. They need to improve. We need 80 points in every game to really have a chance to be the team we want to be.

I think Okoro is about as good as Okeke offensively, the guard play is such a huge drop off. Purifoy got that dog in em but I think he takes a step back for the system sakes. It’s just such a massive drop off in skill from Jared/BB to these two. Bryce knew his game, Samir still don’t to this day. Jvon just look like a Great Value version of his predecessor

Also have to factor in that Bryce and Jared had a few years playing together before last year. They had time to figure it out. We're really depending on Jvon and Samir to play like they have been playing together for 3 years already. Unrealistic really. They might get somewhat better, but if we go deep this year it's going to look different.

Mike Anderson has St Johns playing pretty well. Hopefully he can get in the tournament and go deep this year. Arkansas wasn't the spot for him. Feel like he'll have a better time in New York. He can get some players up there.
