it's a stupid idea. the game is 8 minutes shorter than an NBA game. why do they deserve an extra foul?

The biggest thing for me is almost every coach is going to sit a guy with 2 fouls. It would make the game more entertaining if coaches weren't scared to keep some guys on the floor longer.

I do agree that 5 fouls helps them in terms of learning not to foul and play better defense, but there are a lot more weak calls on the college level than NBA. Especially with big men.

You saw what happened to Thomas Bryant the other night. But then on the other hand you have guys like Chriss last year who just need to learn to not foul so much.

I don't care about 6 fouls in terms of keeping players from fouling out.

True true the shot clock at 24 would be hard too many people would complain i feel i think the biggest thing that hurts college is zone defense

yes it affects entertainment value, but you can't give them an extra foul just b/c the officiating might subjectively be worse than the nba. And again, the game is almost a full quarter shorter than the nba. 5 fouls is fair.
