Big men develop slowly lmao. Take a look at carolina. It takes them years to develop their players. People act like duke is the only school where 1 and done players struggle. Ingram came in as a mid 1st round project and left Duke a top 3 pick. Its a FACT coach k is the best small forward coach in the country, and it isnt even close. So he can develop players. He just foesnt have patience enough to give big men enough time to develop early on.

There's a huge difference in what Carolina does and what Dook does. Psycho T came in as a decent level recruit and left the ACC leading scorer. Henson or Brice came in 160 lbs soaking wet. They were projects. Brice developed into an all american last year. Even the player Dook fans claim is the missing piece, Amil, isnt all american level after being a 5* Burger Boy recruit in his 5th year. Roy's not taking top 2 centers in their class and have them out there looking clueless like Chase or Bolden. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread, 2nd year undersized preferred walk on Luke Maye has developed more than 2nd year Burger Boy Chase Jeter has.

We destroyed that indiana team as a whoke. Taking off=consistency. He didnt become a top 2 player for duke until conference season.

Doesn't change the fact he was the leading scorer that game and it was prior to conference play, thus making your statement null and void.

Edit: In fact, in regards to your "consistency" narrative change, he followed the Indy game up with a 23 and 8 game.

Hahaha....Amil is avg 13 and 10....you really think that's All American level? That's basically Kennedy Meeks numbers. That's further proves my point. A kid who spends his summers trying to lose weight in his 4th year putting up the same numbers your 5th year "major piece" is putting up. And Tyler wasn't even the highest ranked player at his position in high school, while Bolden was. What do you wanna bet he don't progress his freshman year at the rate Tyler did?

Considering hes the 4th or even 5th option on offense, i think 13/10 are great numbers. He was giving us what we needed on the blocks. Again he was on an all american level before the injury.

Lol again he was not top 2 player until conference.

Why? Cause you say so? He was already taking the most shots on the team and led the team in scoring in the 5th and 6th game of the season. Who other than Grayson held the "top 2" spot on that team before conference play started? Thornton? Luke coming off the bench? Matt Jones? Bum ass Chase?

Marshall was the second most important player to the team until ingram came along during conference season

Only with Dook fans is 13 and 10 while not being a top 3 option (i.e. not even being game planned for)is an All American level. Hell with Blossomgame and Artis, Amil would be lucky to crack 2nd Team All ACC with those numbers.

The offense is not designed for amile the out up huge numbers this year. Again, he was leading acc in double doubles, shooting % and i think rebounds before he got hurt. He would have made the all america list. Maybe not 1st team

Not about points, young man. Marshall helped shore up the paint after amile went doen. When brandon got used to the paint he became our 2nd most valuable player
