i also forgot to mention beside Large Proffer wasn't Paul C also ghosting in Ra sessions? Cuz Ra said he wasn't actually programming just laying out the vision so maybe these dudes were in there in that capacity.

Why he stop producing when Eric B left though?
SMH…. That “engineer” is large professor he was speaking about. I feel like him & large professor produced the records.

it’s a mid read rakim retains his mystique and doesn’t go into detail much.
He still continued to produced/had some dope shyt on the master just for example

I don’t think so. I look at Puff as a co-producer.

Rakim is a producer. I would say just as much if not more than Irv. He just wasn’t a programmer. Back in the days there were different credits for all of this. Producer, co-producer, arranger, programmer, etc…

Paul C was dead before the recording of Let the Rhythm hit Em started. Large pro did most of that shyt.
