Noticing the promo has very specific wording. It doesn't say this is a new rakim album. It says it's the first project fully produced by rakim. This is def a compilation. I just hope it's like Soul Survivor and he's on all the songs.
Yeah it’s kinda of weird. The white dude is promoting more than Ra is, friend.:why:

Only reason I’m not ecstatic and whylin is because of the “with Kurupt and Masta Killa” part, 🤢.

Lol, no disrespect, they’re both dope rappers…just not my twist, I want a Rakim solo album man!!!! Is Ra just doing the production on this and they’re rapping?

This is a very unusual, unexpected, strange release from Rakim.

Not saying its gonna be bad but... :manny:

Did he have showing his production and verse copy pasting on his bucket list ?

Almighty80 is involved I'm thinking OK Canibus must be on it so I look and lo and behold. :wow:

Some spitters on this but I'm always iffy about deceased rappers getting pasted on new songs all after the fact. That tracklist looks good on paper to the point I expect a classic. But I'm not holding my breath for a classic. The fact that Kool G Rap is still doing music in the 2020s confirms that his longevity has put him as the greatest lyricist in hip hop history.
