I finished this over the weekend. It was average at best. The kid did a good job of being an annoying ass kid. I wanted to smack the shyt out of him a couple times. It's decent background noise but not worth a 2nd watch.
So glad they didn't have her call in love with the white boy even they though did show her kind of considering it when talking with her girls. Surprised they gave her a black love interest that wasn't a cornball.

We still dont know what the boys exact powers are, it seems he can do anything
The mother played her part well and all the supporting actors.
The special effects, cgi was moderate to well executed but not stunning.
Well written and decent storyline

The trailer you posted is already posted in this thread prior to you posting it. The reason I had that other trailer up initially was because when it was announced that’s all that was available.
we watched 6 episodes last night, its not bad at all ....definitely not what i expected either. its a good watch
