Made this dude send me hate mail last night on Bank. Dumb ass just waltz into Open Area and places a breaching charge for the office hatch while I was above him on 3rd floor looking down.

1 shotted him with Caveira's shotgun and he tells me to kill myself. Then started throwing out some '******s' and I hit him with that :umad: and I'm reporting you. :smile:

Why the fukk are people so salty in this fukking game? I got kicked twice last night because I picked a character someone wanted. I also love how people try to kick you when you try to approach on offense intelligently instead of racing towards to objective and getting clapped up quick

Hahahaha, when you play with anybody in this game, you don't know what you're going to get.

The skill gap and just common sense factor is jarring at times. It's that no respawn aspect that gets nikkas HOT. That same thing happened to me the other day tho, join a game, I pick my character, and before the 1st Round even starts I get kicked from the game. It's lame af, especially when they do that while they're in Party Chat. :smh:

Caveira is aiiiiight... she really shines with a well versed team that calls out where people are at/coming from tho. Def not taking her over Pulse or Valk, which is what I predicted before I got my hands on her. Her interrogation skill is cute, but most of the time the enemy team is never caught by surprise by it because people tell their teammates to run when it's about to go down. I've also noticed that when you do get one of them, it creates the Defending team to get too aggressive at times and walk right into the Attacking teams lap. If somebody gets interrogated and I'm in a good spot with cover, where nobody can flank me from, then I'll just chill there and wait to see if somebody is thirsty enough to try and peak whatever I'm looking at.

Patch Notes - Update 4.1 | Forums

Patch 4.1 will be deployed on August 25th for all platforms.

Translated versions of these patch notes will be published as quickly as possible.


Pulse Rebalancing
Reduced range for Pulseโ€™s gadget, and he can no longer quick swap out of his gadget.
The previous update that we did on Pulseโ€™s Heartbeat Sensor not only made it more comfortable to use, but it also made him stronger since the frequency of the heartbeat detection updates became higher. Combined with the fact that it was possible to switch extremely fast from the Heartbeat Sensor to the main gun, this made him too strong โ€“ our gameplay stats and the community feedback made that very clear. As a consequence, we have opted to tweak him as follows:
  • Detection range of Pulseโ€™s Heartbeat Sensor is reduced from 13m to 9m.
  • Pulse will no longer be able to instantly switch from his Heartbeat Sensor to his previously equipped weapon by pressing the weapon switch button. This means the delay before the player can shoot will increase by 0.8 seconds (from roughly 0.4s increased to 1.2s).

Semi-Auto Shotgun Balancing
Semi-automatic shotguns will be getting a few tweaks to make them less powerful at longer range.
Based on the data we collected and feedback from the community and Pro League players, we have opted to balance semi-automatic shotguns. Patch 4.1 will be introducing these changes:
  • We will be reducing short range and medium range raw damage by approximately 25-30%.
  • For both hipfire and ADS (Aim Down Sight), we will be making their cones of dispersion wider by 1.5 degrees, which is approximately 10% more than their previous state. This means that there will be a less concentrated dispersion of bullets.

Our intention is to make semi-automatic shotguns carry out incredible damage at short range, but lessen their impact significantly from medium to long range. The damage falloff from the original damage output will now be more noticeable. At longer ranges, the accuracy of the shots will also be harder to predict with precision, as players will have less gradually less control the further away they are from their target.
The shotguns that will be affected are the following:
  • SPAS-12 โ€“ Valkyrie
  • SPAS-15 โ€“ Caveira
  • Super90 โ€“ Frost
  • M1014 โ€“ Pulse, Thermite, & Castle

A more precise breakdown of the aforementioned changes can be found in the table below.

Fixed โ€“ Shield Operators movement speed is slower than intended. [They are now back to Season 2 speeds]
Fixed โ€“ When the middle beam of a trap door is destroyed, it can no longer be reinforced.

Fixed โ€“ If an Operator mounts Tachankaโ€™s LMG with a Pistol out, their arms will be near their chest after dismounting.
Fixed โ€“ Attackers are not killed when triggering Kapkanโ€™s EDD and Frostโ€™s Welcome Mat at the same time.

Thermite
Fixed โ€“ Exothermic Charge does not destroy a reinforced wall in some instances.
Fixed โ€“ Thermites Exothermic Charge can be destroyed through a reinforced hatch or wall.

Blitz
Fixed โ€“ Operators have a broken animation when viewing from 3rd person.
Fixed โ€“ Legs, arms, and the top of Blitzโ€™s head are exposed when triggering his gadget.

Jager
Fixed โ€“ Jager receives twice the intended amount of points for disabling grenades.

Ash
Fixed โ€“ Some wooden walls require two breaching rounds to destroy.

Twitch

Thank God. Pulse is just aggravating as fukk now. And I'm glad they are fixing that bank exploit. Some dudes were abusing that today spawn killing
