war is on for "uncivilized nations"... well then white nations are uncivilized... where do these idiots think the first two world wars happened, in africa....? europe has been at war for centuries.... this is why i made the thread "i'm mad at myself"... because i hate that i have compassion for people that could never feel compassion for people like me.... it's one of the traits that hold black people back -- caring about people that could not give a rat's ass about us.......
Us having compassion is what separates us from being genocidal monsters like them. It’s not a negative characteristic

in some ways it is.... we need to direct our compassion to helping ourselves.... helping our oppressors is never a good thing....

That's literally how tyrants justify their atrocities. Everyone always calls up the historical sins of the other side and thus paints all members of that race as undeserving of human compassion or mercy. You can have compassion for anyone regardless of their skin color. If you define the Ukrainians solely as "oppressors" because they're white and some of them are racist, and thus declare that they aren't worthy of compassion anymore, then it's just as easy for others to paint the Jews as undeserving of compassion, the Tutsi as underserving of compassion, the Bosnian Muslims as undeserving of compassion, etc.

WWI and WWII took place in Africa as well

Xenophobia is everywhere honestly and I don't think any person who feels compassion is flawed.

exactly why i'm only interested in the geopolitical consequences of this war...i'm not losing sleep over two white nations that have been hotbeds of neo-nazism and hatred toward black/other skinned people going at it. and that's not trying to be a coli militant hot take, i just don't have much space to hold for european/"white" nations and their centuries of bullshyt
Exactly my stance.

they are deserving of compassion, absolutely.... they are just not deserving of my compassion... and i would never justify slaughter or oppression of anyone else... i don't preach hate of the others, i preach love of self... huge difference....

it started in the "civilized" world though... we expect the "savages" to be at war..... anyhow, i like the energy on this board... mostly compassionate, understanding, we're all human type of vibe... meanwhile on a white board you'd get not a lick of this "we're all human" energy..... it'd be more like you animals deserve your misery... interesting distinction....

WWI started in Sarajevo...

During Bosnia and Kosovo I don't think we heard this kind of rhetoric

I think that's an oversimplification and generalization of people's attitudes
