ESPN has probably planned a subtle way of getting rid of female sportscasters because they have found out from secret polls that a majority of viewers put less validity on sports news when spoken by a woman than a man.
"No, we can't offer you a raise. Good luck at TNT." Then, a couple months later, they'll hire a newbie sportscaster who is a dude to replace her and ratings will go up.
