word?

erin andrews, beals, and now nichols, something is going on at ESPN

I wonder will Clarissa Thompson leave within the next year or will she get a huge role with the company

Money.

ESPN shouldn't pay anybody a premium. Hate it or love it, they are the end all be all of sports media

They should dare these people to have a more productive career w/o ESPn

ESPN never showed her ass in 10 years there. Must have had a no anal, oops I mean, no ass showing clause in that contract.

Rich Eisen begs to differ. He used to be what Scott Van Pelt is now for ESPN, and now he's probably as big a name and face of NFL programming as Chris Berman is. I think the best thing to do for a talented ESPN personality is to let your buzz grow on ESPN and parlay it into a premier position on one of these budding sports networks.

:shaq2:

I bet NFL Network doesn't get a 3rd of the viewers that ESPN dedicated NFL shows get (NFL live, NFL 32, etc)

That's kind of the point, they were able to replace Eisen with Van Pelt. Eisen may be a big name at NFLN, but they cover one sport. Compare that to being at ESPN/ABC that has coverage of all sports on multiple programs on multiple stations & media outlets

And I'm saying, ESPN isn't the end all be all of sports media if a dude left there and became bigger than he would have had he stayed.
