Are you Caribbean? because the English speaking Caribbean islands have long been called the West Indies. there's even a University of the West Indies campus in Jamaica and a West Indies cricket team that is made up of by several Caribbean nations

First of all, contrary to ignorant belief, Carribean is not interchangeable with "West Indian". West Indian people are strictly from Trinidad.

Look dude what you said about West Indians only being Trinidadians isn't true, ok. Don't dig yourself a deeper hole. It's just not true. Trinidad itself has a high Indian ethnicity percentage compared to the other islands which is where you might be getting confused, but many Indians being in Trinidad has nothing to do with the name West Indies.

What do you want us to say? lol I can only speak on my account, You won't catch me bragging although I'm doing well for myself. I try to understand people's ignorance, not partake in it. Everything everybody has said in this thread has some merits of truth to it, because people are talking from experience. That doesn't always make it correct but correct to them. I've seen both sides of the coin. I can't sit here and tell you some "West Indian" don't talk down on Americans...that would be an obvious lie but does it stings when you see "Africans" or "Caribbeans" come here and brag or something?
I don't mind people's business enough to care if someone is bragging, I'm too focus on building my empire. If the shoe was on the other foot and a "Black American" came to my country bragging..... If it effected me, personally I would do something about it. It would only effect me if I felt I wasn't at the level I'm capable of and underachieved. That would seemingly be very jealous of me and I try to balance my Chakras to keep my male and female energies balanced. This thread ain't doing nothing but further diving us. We are whole. These arbitrary titles we take the heart ain't nothing but artificial.
