Anybody who knew tlr knew it was coming. And I, Tina had a number of cringy passages.

With that said her talent is undeniable. My favorite by her is called I Don't Wanna Fight. We Don't Need Another Hero is an extremely close second.

Anyway , R.I.P to a legend

I do carry a bit of resentment that the movie based on her life was mostly a complete lie and used as a propaganda film to push a violent black male agenda, but how much she personally had to do with that is uncertain so I don't blame her for it. Not her fault the film portrayed her as this soft spoken niave docile feminine female when from all accounts from the people around her she was just about as violent , drug using aggressive loud talking diva etc. But regardless her imprint of the music business can't be denied.

When you sell rights to your book it's a wrap. In her defense she went on record saying the rape scene was made up.

Maybe not all cap, but mostly cap.

Things like rape scene, never happened, beating at pool party, never happened but some violence did take place....but leaving out that Tina bust ike upside the head with a shovel once for leaving and her going to get drugs and women so her and Ike could share them is the full story and it was foul for whoever made that film to not be fully transparent with how toxic their relationship was.

Feel they about to do the same with the Donna summer story.
