Rest in Peace to Sean Price. My big bro is gone. He gave me so much advice and showed me and Sav Killz so much love. Sean is on Savs debut album which hasn't dropped yet. We will def be giving proceeds of that song to his family. My condolences go out to Bernadette and his children. His whole family. It feels like just the other day I was at the Baby shower for Shaun in the Ville. She's getting so big Time flies. Anyway we got a lot of work done over the years. Shows out of town. He used to always invite me over for Thanksgiving sav too. I really appreciated that cuz I don't get too many invites for that. I could never go tho as I'm an only child and my place is with my parents and family. He was one of my favorite emcees of all time and always made me laugh. We had good times. Cracking jokes talking shyt to each other. His nickname for me was The Evil Zoltan. He said I was always scheming making things happen lol. Some silly cartoon character. I used to call him epic beard man and grumpy and all that. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him and his fans all over the world. He was so unique with his personality. He really was on some IDGAF ish but still humble and would talk to his fans. This is a sad day in HipHop. One of the greatest passed. I don't know what else to say but may he rest in peace and I am here to help with any benefit events to raise money for the family. Behind the scenes or otherwise. He has so much dope music that hasn't released yet as well. At least 4 projects that I heard. Make sure everyone supports it and supports his family once some kind of donation link is available. We as the HipHop community need to look out for eachother !

he was going fishing with Sadat X and some other cats. Sadat speaks on it in that interview with him and Jamar that's been posted a few times in this thread. says they took a P fishing a few weeks back, and they basically had to drag him out the house. it was his first time fishing, but I guess he ended up having a good time, and was planning to go out again with those cats...

Coli Bros, the size of this thread's a testament to what P! meant to Hip-Hop. Thanks for honoring him. He'd truly be surprise People Gave a fukk:laff: about him in this magnitude:wow:

...remembers, Tek hopping on his back, while DJ Nash bring Onion Head back for the umpteenth time, and the crowd GO HAM everytime the Beat Drop:dj2::mj:
From, coast to coast, he traveled the Land
Left footprints in grains of Sand
It's SEAN P!

In his presence, phony rappers will Shiver

I'm actually very pleasantly surprised how much love he's gotten from the larger hip-hop community and music news in general. I mean, think about it:

-Front Page article on the NY Daily News
-RIP Tweets and Instagram posts/tags from major celebrities and too many hip-hop personalities to name
-RIP shoutouts from the Roots on Jimmie Fallon's show in front of a national audience
-Michael Rapaport wearing a RIP Sean Price shirt on Comedy Central's Nightly Show with Larry Willmore
-Segments on NPR about his music and life
-Donations to the fam from several big-name music personalities

It's a testament to how well respected he was that he's gotten this much attention and love from people I wouldn't have really expected. It goes without saying that his fam and fans will never completely get over the loss, but this much love i'm sure is definitely appreciated and heartfelt.
