Yeah that's wild. In my dream, I found out on Entertainment Tonight. We go on lunch break just as it's coming on and they had a segment on him. That shyt was so vivid, I woke up sad as hell.Was a strange af dream, I dreamed I was driving somewhere and I heard on the radio that Q Tip died. I felt fukked up, was happy when I woke up that it was all a dream. Now this shyt happens. Crazy you had the same dream

I haven't been hit this hard by a hip hop legend passing since Pac. Tribe was a big part of my youth. I'm glad he's no longer suffering but damn this one really hurts. Was on a road trip listening to tribe just yesterday. The good die young. I never had the chance to see them live.
He was the quintessential MC to me...hearing his growth as a rapper was amazing. He had some good bars on their first album, but hearing him on Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders was just
He outshines Tip on every song on those 2 albums IMO. He was the perfect counterbalance to Tips style.
And it's wack how Tip treated him in the later years, his ego was huge and basically treated Phife like shyt after their 3rd album. And for the record, Q TIP's music without Phife was ass.
I'm off work this afternoon and gonna grab some brews and jam some ATCQ.
