On Sorry I took it as him saying to Big Boi I'm sorry I am who I am and I didn't wanna tour and it fukked up your money cause I don't care about money like you do. Seemed sarcastic to me.

stankonia wasnt as consistent as the first 3, but it was still a great album. sonically and songwise it was there. snappin & trappin is the only song i could really complain about. everything else even if it sounded a little odd was quality.

i havent listened to a big boi interview the past week or so, but after that gilette mishap he was saying dont ask us about outkast's future. i think dre is sincere about how his decisions have hurt the group, then again once the group got to that point of superstardom (coincidence or not) he no longer was going to do things he didnt like anymore, which included performing.

Big Boi seems like a real ass dude. I know it is what it is, but I don't get why Andre didn't just keep rapping. I mean really.. It's not like he did anything big in Hollywood :pachaha:

Agreed but have been pretty happy with the quality of solo Big Boi projects. Just crazy that Andre couldn't drop one of those 16's on Big's album this time.

Big Boi sounded mad.

“He could've been on any song he wanted to. I gave the motherfukker about five songs, but I guess he was just too busy,” Big Boi explained. “He said he had to do some Gillette shyt. No for real. He said he had some contractual obligations.”

On the sorry verse
"I don't really get it. Awkward... I don't get it. He's apologizing for being awkward at shows? Apologize for turning down a million dollars a night," he said. "He didn't want to perform no more, but that's understandable. I just kept on pushing. Kept on going. To me, the whole thing about the performance thing is, I know fans want to see us do the songs together. But I never stopped touring. I'm on my second solo record."

I hate how nikkaz act like stankonia was hot.:rudy:

Kast last good project was almost 15 years ago

Man I wish you could have seen my face when I played Stankonia for the first time.

I was stuck on the train in the bronx and and it was so crowded I couldn't swap the disc out of the discman. Just being forced to finish that shyt was :to:

fukk them nikkaz

It's pretty clear he was getting bored with hip-hop by the time The Love Below dropped. A Life in the Day was basically his retirement speech. I'm surprised he drops as many random features as he does.

because he probably gets paid 100g+ for a feature, nikka got to pay the bills somehow
