shyts been like that. My parents moved from Miami in '82 over babies getting shot in a neighbors house. 35 years later kids are still getting killed, its the dope game. Easy solution to stop this shyt but nobody cares until its their kid that's in danger.
Legalize what they sell and use the tax money for investment BY the community not for it by ppl who don't live there. They do this back and forth shyt over about half a percent to one percent of the population that uses hard drugs. Cartels can diversify but street gangs can't in the same sense. What illegal demand would they meet?
Gang centered culture is another issue and a much harder thing to break (the mindset) because they're brainwashed like religion but if we can take away the money that facilitates the violence then why not?
I'm actually moving there for a job very shortly, maybe once I'm there I'll say its hopeless even if you take away the illegal economic activity but I've never been to a place where I've said that, cause its totally reversible.

Ive never said you had to mourn for him? So where that comr from?? The victim is the baby, he never got a chance to live life. I was hust stating facts. Never said capo was victim or innocent

A man was charged in the death of a toddler who was killed while sitting in his stroller on the sidewalk. Antoine Watkins, 21, was fleeing the scene of a fatal shooting when his vehicle jumped the curb and struck Dillan Harris, 13 months, on the city's South Side over the weekend.
Watkins was involved in the drive-by shooting death of Marvin Carr, a 22-year-old rapper known as "Capo," at 1:45 p.m. Saturday in the 7700-block of South Kingston Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood, police said. He was trying to elude police officers when his car struck Dillan in the 6300-block of South Ellis Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood, officials said.
The shooting and crash happened about three and a half miles apart.
Dillan was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where he later died.
Watkins, of the 8100-block of South Bennett Avenue, is charged with murder and misdemeanor fleeing or attempting to elude police. He was also issued citations for driving without a license or insurance.
Watkins is due in bond court on Monday. The shooting and the crash remain under investigation.

A lot of times people bring up the bogus drug laws...but fail to mention those same laws were voted in by black politicians that ran on those same laws that people voted for (tough on crime etc...).
The same people that complain about the system are the same people that put this bullshyt into place.
If you sleep walk through life...you will be a victim...regardless of race.

i agree with with what you are saying OVERALL in the sense that we cant continue to use "the white man is holding us back" as an excuse, but to totally dismiss the FACT that this country was built to accomodate the white race using free black labor is ignorant in my opinion. It has to be acknowledged. Matter fact, the fact that we dont acknowledge it enough is one of our problems. The white man has cleaned his hands so well of what he's done to us that we actually call anyone who dares mention it a "conspiricist". In 2015, we are still dealing with the affects of slavery believe it or not. Thats what im saying. We still have 400+ years of mental conditioning to overcome. Discrimination and racism is still happening. Black people are being passed over for jobs simply because of the color of their skin. Black people are given harsher prison sentences because of the color of their skin. Black people are being shot up by the cops because of the color of their skin. The 50's and 60's wasn't that long ago. The ideas and beliefs of that time period of blacks being sub-human are very much alive today. They didnt just disappear. You dismissing and marginalizing 400+ years of intentional oppression into "some secret group that thinks about holding blacks back" is extremely telling. You're not the only one tho and thats a problem. Im sure you read the thread about Texas omitting/altering the history of slavery,KKK,etc in textbooks. THATS why they do things like that. They WANT us to continue thinking that its OUR fault. That we are a naturally savage and unruly people. They dont want us to know about the conditions that were PURPOSELY created to cause things like this to happen. Again, i feel what you are saying but the conditions that are purposely being created has to be ackowledged also. White supremists wont bring it up. Its our job to.

we probably agree more than we disagree.
What im saying is constantly talking about white people accomplishes nothing.
I went through that phase when I was younger (I grew up around the pro black/bookstore/NOI crowd)...and got nothing out of it.
Once I realized I had to take my life into my own hands everything changed.
Cant find a job? Lets talk about entrepreneurship.
Treated unfair in the legal system? Lets talk about ways to avoid the police...and what makes them target you (I have only been pulled over 3 times in my life...got 1 ticket...im 33)
I like action...action is the only thing that will change the state of black america...not politicians...not black leaders...it will be black people in mass numbers going out to get theres.
