Sad, didn't they just have the So So Def 20th anniversary? That's crazy. I was in 6th grade back in 92 getting ready for middle school when "Jump" came out. For little kids like us Kriss Kross was the sh!t. They are by far the most popular child rappers of all time. Shyheim, A+, Another bad creation, Bow Wow, Lil Romeo. Sorry, none of these dudes had more impact than Kriss Kross. Their Debut album "Totally Krossed Out" remains the highest selling album by a young act in Hip Hop history and one of the highest selling rap albums ever at 4x Platinum.

"Jump" was #1 for a staggering 8 Weeks on the Hot 100 making it one of the most successful runs for a rap song ever and made them both two of the youngest musical acts to have a #1 single. Their 2nd LP "Da Bomb" and 3rd LP "Young rich and dangerous" didn't live up to the success of their debut but they still had hits and went Gold. Some might have called them a gimmick and even if JD and Da Brat were writing their rhymes, they were still a dope group. I always have love for those guys. They made Hip Hop History. R.I.P. Chris.

TORONTO!
Wore my gear backwards more than a few times. Totally Krossed Out might've been me and my brothers first album back in the day

How did he die?

http://straightfromthea.com/2009/02...s-internet-tales-introduces-his-new-rb-chick/

But Alopecia Areata isn't deadly. Was it really cancer? :rip:

Dude had leukemia as a kid, the treatment caused the alopecia

Damn, :rip: I had these two big ass Kriss Kross posters from 8-12 y/o hung on my wall, they were meant to hang in opposite directions, thoses were my nikkas

They're saying it may have been an overdose and I'd believe it, in the few pics that would surface of him, he didn't ever look too happy
