I don't agree with a good 80% of your list but I will admit, SZA is doing big things. She came out of nowhere and is one of the more sought-out-after R&B artists currently. I didn't even realize her album had scanned Gold until a few days ago...and that's nearly unheard of from a new R&B act.

Motherfukker ain't name Stokely Williams, Bilal, Teedra Moses, Badu, Raphael Saadiq, Jill Scott, Lalah Hathaway, Anderson Paak. Real R&B singers. Uncle Charlie. Xscape back. Maxwell, and Brian Mcknight. Toni just dropped a new joint a few weeks ago too.

The audacity of this nikka, man. :gucci:

Don't forget Ledisi

Sza is like the 2017 Keisha Cole

Brent Faiyaz has potential

Daniel Caesar is like the Black John Legend. I wouldn't say he's completely R&B but hes good. Same with Sampha

TY Dolla is borderline a rapper pretty much the new generation Nate Dogg

Chris Brown still the GOAT

Party Next Door brought back a new R&B sound.

I wouldn't call anyone else R&B

No mention of OMARION?

He's been consistently putting out good music lately.:manny:

Replace those wack artists with Frank Ocean, Anderson. Paak, Weeknd, Foreign Exchange, Ye Ali, Iman Omari, Mayer Hawthorne, SiR, Masego, Fatima, Gwen Bunn, Tiffany Gouché, Steve Lacey, Joyce Wrice, and you'd have yourself a list.

I’m going to check out the artists I haven’t heard of in your post.

You’re tripping about Daniel Caesar and 6lack though, breh.

I ain't got no choice but to 1 star this thread cause it's a crock of BULL-shyt!

(How you call this an R&B thread and more than half the cats you posted sound like nails on a chalkboard when they try to sing?)

1 star, bruh. This shyt is disrespectful as a bytch.

Like my nikka Omar say, "it be like that way sometimes".

As a dude whose top 3 are Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Prince I feel you but shyt has evolved. I say this newer style should be labeled "vibe&B" or something like that. Back in the day, most of the time it was about how well the tracks could accentuate the artist's voice now the artist and the production are co-stars and just like any group someone is going to get outshined it doesn't matter who shines more on the track as long as it vibes well. You just gotta get with it breh.:manny:

I'll be damned if I throw some Uncle Charlie on in the whip when I have a sexy 23 year old riding with me.:mjlol: I'm about to throw on this dvsn so I can subtract those drawls from the equation later on.:wow:
