quick question...which photo

To me it depends on what the show is about. How do you want them to feel after the show?

First one I feel calm and it is more pleasing but thats it. Pretty pic and thats it.

They second one Im uncomfortable and I have questions. Im paying attention to everything in the pic. The wood walls the hanger, her tattoos, what is she drinking?

Just off first thoughts

I thought the 2nd was bland....more like a normal snapshot.

Not sure how how that can be interpreted as a snap shot, do u not see the over sized cup or finger tattoo. I get what you're saying, first one is more pop....appeals to everyone. The 2nd is more art, more subtle.

I dunno.

I just ...I'm not criticizing you. Lord knows I'm a terrible photographer, but the 2nd one just feels like you walked over to a lady and took her picture and went to get a snapple.
I think if I were scrolling through a portfolio, I wouldn't even give it a 2nd look.

You have to pick what you love though. I'm no expert by any means at all.
If you have a site with pics though, please share. I love looking at stuff like that. I used to work in a camera shop for 3 years.

Well yeah, she's done up more and is like that universal image of the typical pretty white girl, while the 2nd is kind of like grungey, but still feminine. I see the 1st woman as a woman who is a girly girl that loves to shop, the 2nd one seems like a thinker but chic.
