quick question...which photo

Doing an exhibition soon and for the last photo I have to choose between these two. I cant decide which one I like better. I think the first one is more beautiful but It kinda looks boring.....the 2nd one is more interesting but maybe thats just to me. Lets not make this about the girls looks and can we please keep this thread on topic...just tell me what you like better. Thanks!

First one has more interesting composition and more interesting lighting, though you could tweak the contrasting and maybe the blacks.

But that's just me. I love high contrast.

To me it depends on what the show is about. How do you want them to feel after the show?

First one I feel calm and it is more pleasing but thats it. Pretty pic and thats it.

They second one Im uncomfortable and I have questions. Im paying attention to everything in the pic. The wood walls the hanger, her tattoos, what is she drinking?

nah the photo is supposed to be delicate. Turning up the blacks would make it more bold.

Yeah.
The 2nd one is just focusing on the woman. There's no attention anywhere else.
You see the woman, that's it.

But it depends on what you're going for.
I think if you're going for a shot that focuses on one thing like the woman in the coffee cup, it needs to be impactful. Maybe if it was close-up and you caught the wrinkles in her face or something like that.

Since it's soft and delicate, I like the first. You have the brightness in the background, the soft texture of the photo of the woman. There's just more to it.
