Y'all said don't give women flowers? :dead:

That girl who I mentioned before was asking about flowers after we met at this speakeasy bar.

I’m like…. Flowers are something you earn. I’m not gona just show up on a first date with them.

Now if we’ve been seeing each other for a bit, I’ll surprise her with them, but other than that no.

Asking for flowers / dinner can also be a placed as a stipulation and represent her interest in you. As the guy who gets her ovaries tingling does not have to and can skip steps.

To further hone in on this... I was buying this woman flowers on special occasions, brehs. You know, birthday, valentine's day, etc. My lady.

This woman tells me out the blue one day, "I don't like it when you buy me flowers. I'm not into flowers like that."

I hit the :yeshrug: and said "Okay, I won't buy you flowers no more."

A month later she comes back, again out the blue, and tells me "You know what? I do like flowers. You can buy them for me."

:gucci:

These women be insane out here. If you waiting on some logical reason for why they do what they do, you'll be waiting.

Ida refused to buy her flowers
Man these chicks really some ass holes lol

After an extended break, I’m back at it.

Got a date on Friday. It’s gonna be kinda early because she has a birthday party to go to afterwards. So, I’m meeting up with a female friend afterwards. I think my friend might have split with her man, but I’m not sure. Sometimes I like her and sometimes she reminds me why we’re just friends.

Be wary about the friend. Is it really worth the potential headache ?

That sounds like a waste of time

She's already assuming that the date's gonna suck, but maybe you're cooler in person, but she's giving herself an escape route if the date doesn't go well. Because she could have scheduled the date at a time where she could get banged.

Given this is the Thee Coli - it could be that the broad is really feeling you, but she's not-so-secretly a whore and she's trying to keep her # down.

These days, I'm not into playing games. So I'd just meet up, holla at her, and if things happen, they happen.

But...

She's trying to play you, by not letting the night play out organically -

To me, this is blatant disrespect. It is what it is. She might run her life, one appointment after another, everything has a time and place - including a relationship with a man.

The proper way to play it, imo, is to obviously knock her socks off, and then cut her off early/ambiguously - as if you are double booked with a date (not just meeting a female friend) and you're not really sure if she measures up.

So if the party starts at 10, the date is at 7, I'd cut out around 8/8:15. Let her twist in the wind. with nothing to do between the date and her party.

Edit - I'm also not a good person. I'm the villain.

Ding ding ding.

That’s exactly why I said both were a waste of time.

But yes, this is the route you take. Whenever they have another “obligation” they usually don’t expect anything spectacular from you. Leave at the highest moment, either an emergency or you have a get together with friends, or a birthday dinner. Cut it early.

One girl I was talking to got distant after our first date. We did hang out a week before the date though. She told me that she may not be in the space for a relationship, etc. I pulled back and kept it light/casual because I know sometimes stating intentions too soon can scare women and make them think I want a relationship NOW, which I never said to her.

So after a few days of not texting her I hit her up asking what's her schedule like, etc. She said she's busy more or less so in that case I pull back the offer and just say "Just hit me up when you figure out your schedule." In sales and dating walking away is the strongest position.

Honestly I was sort of waning if I was THAT into her. Maybe to some degree I like the chase.

Either way I met another woman on the weekend and we're trying to plan something. I also had a Bumble date that went better than expected. First things first was that she looked better than her photos. :sas1:it was just a simple hike. RIght off the bat I was cracking jokes, teasing her. She's slightly nerdy which I love in a woman. Kissed a bit.

This is the woman that's coming over later this week for dinner, hence my question about whether or not women know sex is on the menu when you agree to meet a guy.

I'm being more social again after Jan/Feb being a bit of a monk so more prospects are afoot.
