I got a friend who is like a super Christian by the book. In a way I kind of admire his life but I take everything he says with a grain of salt.
He’s married and his wife just gave birth to their second child. He’s a year older than me. Meanwhile the rest of the guys I know are on hinge and fukking around different chicks.
He told me that most marriages where they that waited to have sex until they were married lasted longer than those that had it before. Idk if I’m super Christian level like that but I do know I want a wife and kids, it’s hard for me to wait till marriage and idk where I would find a women who would be down for that too.

Yup. Don't expect to get that level of support from the women in your life. They look to you for strength, stability and support, whether they are willing to admit it or not. I'm not saying don't cry if ya mama dies, but don't fall for the trick of sharing your deepest fears and insecurities with women.
Women will invite you to share these things just to gather information. What real benefit do they get from knowing your vulnerabilities?

Great chat in here about sharing your vulnerabilities with women. It's certainly a tough balancing act. We can't pretend to have no feelings and be stoic all the time and we also can't be whining about everything that may upset us. But as men we need somewhere to exhale those stresses and fears. Especially as black men.
But to build a true bond with a chick you both need to share something of yourself. Something you've learnt from a previous relationship that you regret or want to do better at for example.
A lot of my personal vulnerabilities surround my family relationships something that can't easily be thrown back in my face if a woman decides to go rogue.
But the way I hope it goes is if me and a chick come to the end of the road we can be decent to one another and leave it at that.
Angry, bitter women. I haven't come across for a while as I easily avoid those types.
Chick I 'm seeing at the moment we have both talked about why we think our marriages failed. I found it illuminating tbh, and again I guess I'm vulnerable but it could never hurt me again. I've done the work on myself.
