Why do women resent nice guys in their 20s but long for them after their early 30s?
Research purposes
Ill give it a crack..
"Nice guy" is a catchall term for many things but many associate with undesirable traits but the origin of the word is really dumb/stupid/naive/weak/needy/ignorant, so just keep that in mind. (if anyone calls you nice this is what they mean in other words, "oh u big dummy, I can take advantage of u")
Usually in today terms its someone who is seen as passive, someone who bends over backwards even to their own detriment, needy, indecisive, no boundaries, let people walk all over them, overly romantic, too agreeable with no boundaries who doesnt seem to have a backbone. They also seem to lack understanding of gender dynamics and dont realize they behavior is paradoxically unattractive..
For women in their 20s they have the are at peak attraction and have many suitors who give them options to choose who they want to deal with. Nice guy based on his behavior will basically be castrating himself out of selection. I wouldnt say they long for them in 30s, I will say their choices change due to circumstance they may have a rough go or OD in dating market and now looking for a shade tree rest haven gullible enough to pay inflated price for extremely damaged goods. If nice guy is still lost in sauce he will think his day has come not knowing he is just a lick.
