What are you guys doing for dates? There’s walking in the park with drinks and restaurants with outdoor seating. That’s all I’ve got, but it’s gonna be hot out.
Okay, I’ve figured out why I don’t like the “not looking for a hookup” thing on a girl’s profile.
If they were just going on a string of first and second dates, are you telling me they wouldn’t have sex with anybody if the streak lasted for 6 months? A year?
If they matched with a somewhat flabby looking dude, but they gave him a chance because he was really funny (and the picture angles were good), but then Morris Chestnut showed up; are telling me that none of those chicks would be practically stroking him off in the corner booth of the lounge?
I guess I’m of the mind that whatever happens happens.

How do you build self-confidence and high self- esteem?
I was a bit depressive and bullied growing up so I never really got to cultivate that. I’m okay now, but my lack of self esteem has def been hurting me with women. No real strong male figures to guide me.

The best way to deal with it is to take time to work on yourself and accomplish small but significant things that will lead to you seeing yourself in a better light. Getting your shyt together.
I've used the last few months to complete several courses on everything from IT to self development, got a couple of certs, read quite a few books (I've listed some of them in this thread) and lost a lot of weight despite gyms being closed.
Building up your knowledge and health is the best thing you can do for yourself. This year's been challenging with family bullshyt and all the other stuff going on, but I've learned to focus on stuff that matters. Naturally your self esteem grows and you find that dealing with chicks or anybody else for that matter is a walk in the park, cos you no longer care what other people think and you know what your capabilities are. Once you keep the momentum going, it's like the Incredible Hulk - you just become more unstoppable despite the obstacles thrown in your path.
