The pettiness of my girlfriend gets underneath my skin sometimes when thinks I'm trying to be unnecessarily difficult when really I'm just trying to help her out.
We got into a tiff earlier today, because she received some cash for her birthday and wanted to use it towards her credit card bill. So she asked me if I would venmo her the money she had and she would just give me the money. I told her, I don't mind, but I don't necessarily want those big bills what's the problem with you just going to an ATM/Bank and depositing the cash in your account there.
She said she wasn't sure that her bank would allow her to do that since it's a regional bank from Texas. I told her she should go try it out just for future reference, because ultimately either I'm going to the ATM to deposit the money or you are and it is YOUR money.
I'm at work right now and she was off today.
So she goes unnecessary irrational mode, talking about if you didn't want to help me just say you don't blah blah blah, I'll go if you find me a bank (we living in fukking Downtown Los Angeles
) blah blah blah.
So she goes to the bank and says she has to do a money order that cost all of $1, as to indicate this was a huge barrier for her. So to diffuse the situation I just said I'll venmo you the money and tell her it probably would make sense for her to switch from a regional bank when she's not even living in the region.
She comments under my venmo, "I win."
She isn't like this a lot, but anytime she gets the "thought" that I might not be doing everything in my power to help her, she completely goes irrational and thinks I'm trying to lecture her when really I'm just trying to put her on shyt a grown adult should already know without the assistance of her boyfriend.
I don't think is grounds to terminate my contract we're almost 2 years into, but shyt like this.

The crazy part is you gave her multiple solutions, she knew they were right but she brushed them off just to keep the argument going. Then when she finally wore you down, she threw it in your face.
