Captain of the Nimbus
**Approaching a new woman every day for a month, Day 7:**
This one was kind of a layup, but I thought that I would post because I know that this has happened to at least a few of my brehs at some point.
I was in the library at school and someone came right up to me and started chatting me up. If you guys like short pawgs, this would be your type to a tee. Great ass, former collegiate athlete, and she had kind of an assertive demeanor to her. I wasn't used to it, but goddamn was it sexy. She wasn't playing around.
She noticed I was looking at the school's study guides and practice tests (finals next month) and she started suggesting things that I could do, that I could borrow her outlines, and that we should hang out sometime (fukk yea!). I did my best to play it cool and display calm while staying engaged by doing things like maintaining a dominating sense of eye contact, reacting to things she was saying calmly, and maintaining an open body disposition to her.
I also used this as an opportunity to try and employ a tactic that someone was telling me about before. Instead of gushing about myself and giving away too much of my interest and game, I would give a vague, short answer to the questions she was asking about me and asked her more about herself. Really open ended stuff that would let her run her mouth. That would make her have to act to maintain my attention (answering my question) while maintaining mystique (she didn't get much of an answer about me for anything) and maintaining a minimal amount of interest (she still had to work for my attention).
For example, we were talking about money and savings and stuff, so she asked me, "So you're into investing and stuff? What companies are in your portfolio?" Then I would answer, "After Obama got elected in 2008 I knew that it was going to be a science-friendly atmosphere in this country so I went to bio.org and look for the most quickly innovating companies because they were the ones most likely to be on the way up. How long have you been in the stock trading game?" She answered, "Oh, about 7 years." Quickly, I followed up with, "Nice, what first got you into it?" She gave a long-winded answer about her dad, her family, her undergraduate major, etc.
I'm going over to her place next week for fukkin' steak. I don't even have to pay for shyt.
As a side note, my portfolio has quadrupled in value since I started. Yes to innovation and technology.
