I don't know if your old ass reads reviews, the correlation between sales and ratings is plausible. I read reviews because I listen to approximately one new album per day and it's 99% indie. It's pretty hard to search for new artists all day and I'd rather have a reviewer I trust tell me about the album before I waste 2 hours on it.
