Ehh, up to that point he only had about a half-season's worth of solid play once he finally got out of Rivera's doghouse. It was a fair offer, but he thinks he's a top five corner ... and he's proving it. Not only he plays well in coverage, he plays the run well for a corner tooshould have offered more....i guess gettleman wanted more proof....now hes getting it.

Ginn could be a real threat if he had a #1 wr opposite of him. Just dont know if the 49ers would let Boldin go because Kaep would really suffer.
Unless the 49ers are trying to sabotage Kaep so they can cut him
At this point in the season I think the best bets might be guys like Cordaralle(sp) Patterson and Kenny Stills
Although Still was a baller with the Saints.
Patterson is more of a KR than a WR. But the same thing was said about Ginn before he joined Cam

just like he did those 1 year contracts a couple years back. Really could have used Ginn, Mitchell against Seattle last year

I think next year is the year we can cut Stewart without a cap penalty. Plus I think if we were to cut Charles Johnson, who might be getting close to being done, we save a bunch of cap space too. Those guys may end up getting dropped. But even still, we're gonna have to pay Star and/or Short coming up in the next year or two. Deciding which good players to sign is good problems to have though, can't complain too much.

ill take patterson....give him screens, underneath pick rotes and comeback routes and let em make plays. plus he gives cam better field position...which is important with this stagnant offense.
Seems us having Cam out there with minimal help, is getting more and more attention. It's obvious we have something special brewing and to not make a move to solidify this offense so we can hang with the elites is criminal.
