Black kids used to call Will Smith a Koon because he didn't rap about selling crack in the hood and white people liked his music. The word has always been over used.
I remember people using the term "sellout" more in the 90's when Will Smith was popping. Ice Cube's "Be True to the Game" was popular in the hood. Given Cube's career that song is looking funny in the light:francis:

Nice try :umad: Imma put c00ns up on that Summerjam screen until im 6 feet under. Today, theses progressive Negroes have started to convince that the mainstream that Black who go against the grain are c00ns. You can be different without shyttying on your ethnic background but the c00n doesnt understand that. Likewise you can be pro black w/o spending most of your breath highlighting Black downfalls.

I just saw Dope and/or Dear White People recently and it appears that idealogical college nonsense is creeping in to the real world.

Word.....I never once heard The Fresh Prince refered to as c00n in the 90's.....Sellout was the term that was thrown around in the 90's and yes at one point that term was directed at Fresh Prince as well as Hammer. In the 90's u also had "oreo" amongst the younger crowd and "uncle tom" was still in effect. The only time I remember the term "c00n" being used in the 90's was that scene where Forrest Gump thought the racist whiteman was referin to rac00ns and how his mom used to shoo them away with a broom when they entered the house. That and just acknowledging that there was a 70's movie called c00nskin. By the 90's the term "c00n" had been reduced to being an old school slur but social media has brought it back as a name calling trend.

You do know that u just confirmed what the original author stated right?? The author is saying that you are using an unneccesary racial slur to describe someone who one might regard as being lost, confused misinformed or misguided. He is stating that the use of a "racist" term to address such people is unneccessary and shallow. Why are you using a racist term to describe such people??

You are not understanding that the aim is to discourage others from kissing white ass.

Focusing on semantics is useless.
