by naming this, we deny these kinds of black people the influence on the rest of us that they might otherwise have.
.

But calling someone a c00n online doesnt really move anything the way u are projecting. Name calling doesnt deny influence because to many people do it so easy that it gets reduced to regular online shyt talking. I can prove that real easy. With all the name calling that Kim K gets on social media does that stop her from having influence? Absolutly not. She's called fake, a whore a gold digger, pretty much any bad title u can hurl at a female yet her influence(along with her family) keeps growing and growing.

stephen a smith is very aware of his reputation online and addresses it on his show. he has become even more bitter and hostile, which seems to be further driving a wedge between himself and the black community, possibly reducing his influence. so yeah, i think it may actually have some use. kim k is a non sequitur since this has nothing to do with black folk or how people handle racial/political discourse

I dont know man.... Me personally I dont believe the social media hype that u are getting at because what happens online and what happens in reality are two different things. Look at Raven Symone....Now a bunch of guys online will talk that sh*t but let Raven be in their midst in reality and I gaurantee 9 out of 10 will try to fukk even tho she is a lesbian. Or look at Pharrel and the slack he's been getting as of recent. Put him in a room full of up and coming rappers and they will all hop on his dikk. I hear Kobe being referd to as a c00n more then I hear about how Kobe has bought people homes. Stanley Crouch is someone who I dont favor because of his "tommish" ways but on the flipside Stanley Crouch will go to the hood and do things with young Black kids and he doesnt get denied access to helping them. Say what u want about Oprah but let her walk in on your family during Thanksgiving and everyone will bow down. This might be a lil left but when that Katy Perry picture of her looking "not so attractive"after waking up, taken by her ex husband Russel Brand hit the net, I remember people saying "This picture is ruining her career" but it didnt, that was just online hype that didnt transfer to reality. Say what u want about Stephan A Smith having a wedge between himself and the black community but I'm willing to bet that everyday someone Black is asking him for some sort of handout or help.
