Didn’t realize he was in LA when this happened, that Big U protection money really must have ran out

Da 1st mistake is assuming cause he's supposedly "good" in one section that da others are gonna feel da same in other hoods. Besides that, A LOT of these YG's don't give a fukk about who Big U is or other nikkas from that era or what they did in years past before their time.

The part I never get is they laugh when an opp gets killed but be boo wooin when their team gets hit.

Not only that, their fans or anyone else act surprised when any of this shyt happens as if that isn't what da whole of their content consists of.

There is, hold the companies accountable, flood them with lawsuits. It will end real quick
All they would do would put a disclaimer on the music. The statements in thisn music is the sole opinion of the artist and is not shared by label X.

The label isn't responsible for any of this.

It’s a lot of reformed folk in our community that’s actually doing for it and helping the youth.

A lot of “killers” you g sht walk past one everyday homie lmao believe it or not. That same old nikka you see passing out bookbags to the youth or the Ice cream man that does free soft served after school were former killers/shot callers. The hood mechanic, etc… point is they grew up and if you talk to them it took someone not even kin to em to help them grow and realize the sht going on is wrong.

It’s easy to judge when you on the other side of the fence. The sht going on bad but at the end of the day them boys be products of what they’ve grown up around. Ian judging no man for partaking in what’s normalized to him.

Instead of judging we should pull to the side and teach. No matter how much a image them boys portray… they still human and still function just as everyone else. Teach and try to show em right instead of scrutinizing all the wrong their doing. Some nikkas don’t necessarily see it as wrong.

Honestly those reformed folks are the fukking worst for the youth. Fake ass tupac types, that don't know if they want to be a goon or a role model.

Kids look at them and be like "Oh being a gangsta is fine, just get on some fake mentor half step shyt later on in life"

Hold them accountable for what? If you're arguing people should be able to sue companies for releasing art they deem to be harmful, that's never going to happen. Free speech court cases are open/shut.

This isn't about companies to me. This is about culture. There are multiple twitter posts right now, with tons of RTs/likes, of people celebrating a black man died and basically saying Durk is a badass. I've looked at the comments under the tweets and it's nonstop arguments that boil down to one side of stans saying "but Quando didn't die so Durk lost" and another side of stans saying "but Quando's boy got killed." They're discussing real life murder like it's some Marvel vs DC comic book shyt. That shyt got nothing to do with a record company, and everything to do with a poisonous culture that glorifies gang culture. These kids live this shyt at school too. They're talking about their own opps, shots are being fired, etc.

This is the culmination of decades of failed social policies, decades of effective racism, and decades of family structure being erased. Men not being in the homes. Multiple generations stacked on top of each other who do not believe in marriage. Single mothers raising black boys in terrible environments. And none of this shyt is changing, if anything it's getting worse.

If that is something that happens than so be it but it seems unrealistic. You're asking a label to distinguish fact from fiction in an artists lyrics.

I know where you taking this. I'm not saying labels should pretend to be the law and step in to determine whos guilty or not. Just take the song I was talking about earlier in this thread as an example. They straight up mocking Tooka getting killed on the hook. That's clearly something that happened and its clearly inflammatory.
