That nikka still beige zach.....
Russ gets credit for a superbowl.
He won as a game manager.
Same shyt tomczak used to do.
Tomczak just was not shyt to Steve fuller the visible 85 bears back up.
Who garnered all the positive press when the bears destroyed the cowboys in 85.
So the general idea is. People forget that tomczak was on the bears undrafted. Yet tomczak was marketed as a shuffling crew 85 bears qb.

Only thing separating tomczak from russ perception. Is tomczak the halas hall choice for qb.
could not validate tomczak.
over mcmahon.
or fuller.
Where halas hall played their halas hall spreadsheet lowball game bullshyt.
In the same manner walter, Wilbur marshall and mcmahon were played with. That the bears would have had a dynasty.

Instead rhe same playback russ was going to use. With the usc cheat coach in the pros. Who needed a certain look. Is rhe same style of bullshyt halas hall used.
to sell the steelers tomczak.

Sorry not fooled.

I already seen this mike tomczak bullshyt.

@General Mills

I just ain't falling for that halas hall bullshyt.

I seen this brand of tricknology before.

As far as the game manager comment. Being a game manager on a team with a good defense is always a good thing. Tom Brady was considered a game manager during that first three peat. Big Ben could be argued that he was a game manager his rookie season and the first Super Bowl

Russ sure as hell gets credit for that Super Bowl. Game managers get credit if they win the damn thing. Plenty of gun slingers with talent for days who have no ring.

At the end of the day Mike Tomczak was a bum. You would have been better comparing Russ to Bubby Brister as far as talent goes. Tomczak is Kenny Pickett. Even Kenny knew he was not as good as Russ that’s why as soon as he got signed he knew he could not compete for the job and cried.

He is on Philly and despite him playing at Pitt and being our first round pick I have heard nobody mention his rematch with his old team. Because nobody cares. Because he is Tomczak

How soon we forget that Russ wasn’t the “obvious“ choice…Justin had to get hurt in Game 1 for Russ to play.

WHY DO YOU nikkaS JUST BE MAKING shyt UP?

WHY COMMENT WHEN YOU
ARENT EVEN PAYING ATTENTION TO
THE STEELERS.

JUSTIN NEVER GOT HURT.
RUSS WAS HURT AND DIDN'T START
UNTIL GAME 7

Gonna be tough sledding in Philly with no Pickens.
It’s going to be extremely tough. At least this time they can plan for no George in the game plan this whole week. He did not get hurt until Friday last week so that kind of explains the slow start against the browns

Philly is a beast and playing in Philly is going to be bananas

With us not winning there since 1965 I already had it as a L when I saw the schedule before the season began. I want to win of course but KC/Baltimore are more important games.

This steelers era without a qb is all a revisit.
to the tomczak era nonsense.

Only way russ redeems himself.
Is if russ wins a superbowl and hands the ball off. to whomever the healthy lead back is to win the bowl.

I would actually like to see russ with less weapons early. So his mind stays dialed in. When this issue presents itself later in the post season.

Russ's redemption will take him being selfless. Plus showcasing an ability to not glory hound the moment for himself.

That will be the only way we win.
As well as the only way.
russ gets a redemption for his selfish shyt in Seattle.

Russell Wilson in 2023
66.4 completion %
5.8 TD%
1.8 INT%

Russell Wilson in 2024
64.8 completion %
5.6 TD%
1.4 INT%

Russell Wilson hasn't discovered the fountain of youth and he's not "leading" the Steelers to victory.
He's leaning on the Steelers running game and defense.

It's working. But that's not the same as Russell being this big difference maker.

Keep in mind that Wilson has played
vs CLE (W)
@ CIN (W)
@ CLE (L)
vs BAL (W)
@ WAS (W)
vs NYG (W)
vs NYJ (W)

Every one of those teams has a losing record except Washington and Baltimore. And those games were decided by 1 point and 2 points, respectively. And Russell was not particularly good in either one.

There's a lot to be said about Mike Tomlin for creating a system where the team remains competitive. The Steelers are 10-3 and probably no one expected this.
But the team's record obscures the fact that this team's margin of error is tiny.

Pittsburgh leads the NFL in Time of Possession and they are 4th in Opponent Rushing Yards per Game. This team is grinding out wins. To be fair, you play to win the game so credit where its due.

That said, a lot has to go right for them to grind out 3 wins in January.

And candidly, if the Chiefs didn't lose Isaiah Pacheco (though he's back now), Hollywood Brown and Rashee Rice to injuries, that offense might look fearsome AF to teams like the Steelers, Ravens and Bills.

I'm not necessarily counting out the Steelers. But I don't think Russell Wilson is going to be the X-Factor.

Exactly why I said we really get to see what’s up with this team come Sunday, it’s truly the first test of the season outside of the division IMO.

Bunny Brister was a favorite of mine. Occasionally bone head plays but his talent was undeniable. Bubby could flat out ball when motivated
