We already know that European players have a propensity to be bullied or people attempt to bully them because they've had a stereotype of being soft.
It's kind of like the Jeremy Lin era. So many people had an animosity like, "Dude plays exceptionally well for a few games and now he's the darling of the league...fukk out of here."

I don't get the criticism of Lopez. He functions well as a rim protector, screen setter and rebounder that helps KP grabs those easy boards and compile up those double-doubles. It'd be more ideal if he can finish at the rim at a more efficient rate and make better decisions at the high post in the triangle, but all in all, I think he's been solid for what he's been asked to do. In the foreseeable future, if Kristaps is already to start at the 5 fulltime, then it would be the perfect time to inquire about trades for Lopez. Jose Calderon on the other hand, though...
