Lowe Post podcast with Chris Herring of the WSJ: The Lowe Post - Chris Herring

Lowe Post podcast with Robin Lopez and Adam Pally: The Lowe Post - Robin Lopez and Adam Pally

So many good discussions in this Lowe/Herring discussion. The Melo/KP dynamic chat and the discussion about Fisher are great. Calderon/RoLo combination hurting our pace is an interesting one, I didn't realize quite how extreme their impact is when they're out there (theorized that the bigs are slowing us down but didn't add Calderon to that idea). That's not even half way in too.

KD to NY....:patrice:

I'd rather Westbrook.:ld:

I think KD stays in OKC for the money and the fact that his team is already stacked. He has no reason to go to Washington unless they have money I don't know about to build a contender around him. I could see him going to NY before Washington.

I like that Russell attacks but he looks for his shot too much. I don't like the idea of NY standing around waiting for the ball. The Triangle is based on moving the ball. Russell gets his assists because his team is stacked, not because he passes like he should. He's 2nd in assists but only 25th in passes made. He's a bit of a black hole on offense. And I'm not convinced he'd get the calls on 'Melo's team that he gets on KD's team because the league hates 'Melo. Thabo wasn't treated the same by the refs when he left OKC. He's also trash on defense and turns the ball over a ton. That said, I wouldn't be mad if he came to NY.

It just dawned on me....kristaps has a very great chance of getting voted into the all-star game :dead:
Latvians go extremely hard for their athletes let alone the huge built in fan base of Knicks fans....brons a given....but who in the east has a larger following behind him as a forward than kp? No I'm not saying he's better than a host of other forwards right now....but he's more popular right now than most in the east. I'll vote for him...just to get people mad :mjlol:

If you pursue KD, where would Melo factor in that?

Unless you are throwing Melo in the bushes, you guys need GUARDS

You'd have to sign ring chasers or an Arron Brooks type then rest your laurels on Galloway and Grant developing. But Durant/Melo/KP would be a hell of a front court to work with. Given his contract and the increases, maybe RoLo could net us a starting caliber guard. But it's not a big deal anyway, I doubt KD leaves OKC and if he does I'd guess Washington is the front runners.

He's not going to DC

Lakers and Knicks are the main 2 options aside from OKC

Durant would be the primary ball handler I believe. Melo would sacrifice the way Wade did.

I ain't gon lie but the Knicks thread has had some epic fukkery locker room style the past few days:heh:

Read that shyt again and everyone went the fukk in. Even had @Malta the gawd make an appearance :wow:

But last season, when I dropped her in the fryolator - y'all were like :whoacarlton: "We all knicks fans, breh!"

You needed the @Malta co-sign before you came around :sas2:
