Now we need everyone to practice hard but wisely.....

Do not elbow each other in the face...

Do not try to go 100mph, learn how to pace yourself.

Do not try to grab the backboard off of one leg.

Do not do the Eurostep....

Stretch...and get rest......

Learn the mental part of the game...be smart...preserve yourself....keep the team together...no dumb injuries.

The same cats get injured every year and end up being out for months of the season...Not this year. We want our shelves fully stocked. No excuses.

Be smart professionals.

We still gotta work on our defense tho

But that will come with them getting comfortable and learning the rotations

Separating Calderon and Sasha from playing together at the same time will go a long way imho. Teams can run a high pick and roll to get an easy drive for the guard or a free moving shooter/finisher to pass to damn near every time they go at Calderon and Sasha. Having a guard that can fight screens and close distances will help. So Afflalo coming back, Grant or Galloway starting, Calderon or Sasha getting pushed off...any of those will be an immediate boost to the defense; might not make it great but it will definitely help things.

It's preseason, but the offense was good. The defense has questions.

The first question being: How come nobody played any fukking defense?

SOO many open 3's, and dudes getting behind defenders for easy layups... a couple of guys (Williams specifically) looked lost as hell.

But it was good to get basketball back. Watching Free 6 Latvia is going to be a real treat this year.

Breh..that's because not even Google or YouTube could find something as mythical as the concept of Knicks highlights..:mjlol:

gotta give these search engines something to work with.:francis:
you coming here with that nonsense after we've been blessed with some games:ufdup:

I'd put KOQ over Seraphin to start. R-Lo and KOQ are the best two passers and O'Quinn has more range to promote spacing like KP would (obviously KP is a bigger deep threat, but O'Quinn can at least pull his defender out far).
id keep him on the bench since OQ seems like he'll be giving us some good minutes and we gonna need some scores when melo ain't hitting or is on the bench.

Nah start kp. Gallow off the bench
word
start kp and bring gallo off the bench with calderon
starting grant and galloway is risky cause i dont trust calderon to run the offense for the bench guys
last season he was just going through the motions and thats the same thing i saw last night

Galloway/ Grant/Calderon
Arron/ Sasha/ ?
Melo/ Early/ Lance
Porzingis/ KOQ/Willams
RoLo/ Seraphin/ Lou

I also wouldn't mind it if Kyle moved to back up center with Williams moving up a spot and Kevin just cleans up whatever position is weak that night.

It's has flaws but if everyone plays with some sense there is no way we don't make playoffs. Melo making smart plays and finding the open man like last night is going to open up our offense, if our shooting is as consistent as it was last night. Our only real weakness is speed but Fisher should be able to offset that weakness.
