Noah confirmed the "pull-ups" story was bullsh*t. But Herring isn't the type to lie. The new members all sat down with the media individually so I believe it's true unless Noah is lying.

Listen, I don't know you from Adam, right? Or even from Eve? So I have no idea where you're from or what you're about OFF this site. The same goes for you when it comes to me.

But you should know, that when I talk about the general stupidity of this board, and its slide into a place where truly ignorant things are being said and echoed all the time -- I am 100% NOT talking about this thread. I understand how I come across, and I know conversations about the Knicks, basketball, etc can get heated -- so when I tell a poster I'll pay his bus fare to meet me at juice press to grab a kombucha and a side of these hands... I say that knowing that some people might find that irritating, but hopefully most will know I'm just joking.

I'm talking about the larger conversations on this board, which has been overrun with a really bizarre strain of closed-minded bigotry... outright ignorance that I don't want to be associated with. Vile, hateful, spiteful shyt. The kind of comments that explode whenever somebody brings up homosexuals, or hispanics, or jews, or anybody light skinned, or literally any female. Hoooo lawd, the overt hatred of women on this site is outta fukking hand, man.

That is not me be condescending. It's just me looking at a board that has overall devolved to a point where I frequently think about deleting my account completely. Because it would be a bad look for me to be connected with a lot of the shyt that happens and is said on here.

So I used "lame" as shorthand for ignorant and ugly and disgusting. Not for "guys that disagree with me about how good jerian grant might be or whether Melo should get traded"

And maybe you knew that, and still thought it was condescending -- which I guess is fair, though I promise it wasn't intended that way.

But I figured I'd clarify either way, so other people knew where I was coming from. And thanks for the compliment on the rest of the post.

I really understand now.

I went into a couple threads today and realized AGAIN what's so fukked up about anonymity.
