You dont want Gasol trust me ... that team wouldnt be able to defend

Scoring with Rose, Melo, Zingis shouldnt be a huge issue, if youre going to spend on a C, make it someone who can clean up on defense and the boards IMO

Biyombo or Howard. Not really sold on Howard but he looks like the likeliest to sign. If I can have Noah, Lee and Chalmers, then off season is fine with me.

If timberwolves came knocking...would you trade Rubio and Dieng for future pick and Oguinn?
Nah, cant keep giving away future picks ... and what good is Rubio when we have Rose? I dont want Rubios contract eating into 2017 capspace too

I do like the idea of Dieng next to Porzingis ... but hes not worth the cost of taking on Rubios contract and giving up a 1st

Without the first then, would you do it?

despite us not having a pick............................this draft night has been so fukking sweet
a bunch of teams reaching on unproven knock off versions of kristaps only to take the L in the future...just like when teams reached for their own versions of dirk in the mid to early 00s :laff:
the raptors drafted an unathletic 7 foot euro that aint gonna be shyt with our pick...especially because their starting center is an unathletic 7 foot euro :laff:
the celtics draft 1 player cause the nets are ran by monkeys and then they stash all their other picks to random european countries cause every other team let ainge die with all them picks he had backed up from 2007 and shyt :laff:
:ahh: fukk the rest of the atlantic division

Good luck to them but it seemed pretty obvious Phoenix was trying to replicate the same success that the Knicks hit with Porzingis by their pick of Bender. That dude should thank Kristaps for his first rookie contract :pachaha:

Not that it matters any more but I called Rubio becoming available this offseason.

Last night was pretty disappointing with so many quality players dropping to the second round because of the Euro goldrush that KP created. Ron Baker has PJax written all over him; heady player who gets more from his physical gifts by playing hard and playing smart. He's got a decent jumper and passing game, plus was a willing defender. Summer league will be a nice barometer for him, but I imagine they'll hope for a third string PG role for him where they can develop him and use his size instead of have him be a bit undersized at SG.

Another name that fits Phil's mindset is JJ Avila. He's a jack of all trades type too, another cat that seems like a tweener but another player who did a little bit of everything without any major holes in his game. He's a summer league invite and I'd chalk him up as a long shot but wouldn't be surprised to see him get a D-League contract to develop more.

Gotta love that for all the fuss about Phil shunning three point shooting, his first two UDFA's can shoot the rock (and that euro Center that earned an invite from the FA camp earlier also showed range). Should be interesting to watch the summer league roster fill in, we worked out a LOT of guy. Where'd Gbinije wind up?
