Unless Phil would be looking to use Love as trade bait - which would be poor timing considering how he's been low key exposed - this makes no sense considering Love plays the position as Kris.

FOH

I think they're talking Love to C's and then picks/players to the Knicks. The thing is, I don't think the circumstances are right. Love not lookin' good these Finals and his one-way player rep is getting blown up by the media; everyone the C's offered deals at the deadline said they were low-balling which means that part of the trade isn't great; and Phil quotes about quickly competing make me think he's going win-now this offseason which means keeping Melo.

We don't want weak Love...and Melo is not trying to go to Cleveland to be Lebron's sidekick.

Lebron is welcome to come to NY though.

Love would be going to Boston in that deal not the Knicks

Royce White is a super talented cat with legitimate mental issues (as in DSM-5 diagnosed type ish). If he was able to find suitable treatment and enter with his head right, the upside is high. But I'm also not gonna hold my breath.

Bennett never shoulda been the top pick in the draft, but his tools were always intriguing. He hasn't shown anything to be excited about since becoming a pro though imho, but he's another guy who is young enough to figure out a few things and find ways to be productive. The tools are there.

TBH about the list, it looks like you'd expect from a group showing up to a pre-free agency workout. Nothing surprising and not much to get excited about, but if one of them stuck or we found guys to load into the D-League and try to develop...could be a worthwhile endeavor. Especially if one of these two cats figures something out.

Yikes. They might as well resign Early. I say go after Evan Turner or Crabbe in free agency & call it a day.

I like Pierre Jackson & hope he catches on somewhere, but we don't need anymore fringe/developmental players. Developing KP, Grant & Wroten should be enough.

Raleigh by way of Crooklyn

:russ: Ain't this the same nikka who a few weeks ago said that Blatt was close to being a done deal? Son is just throwing stuff against the wall to see what will stick. Love's stock is going way south, and I don't think at this point the Celtics are stupid enough to trade assets for him.

So adamant about not trading Melo and rebuilding so your plan is just to sign Evan Turner?

I guess mediocrity is what you're shooting for
