As trash as this last few years have been, I'm excited for the future. I really am. We have KP, Grant can develop in my opinion and picks. We just gotta believe in the slow grind and stop trying to take the easy way out.

The difference between winning 51 games and 73 games is fukkING enormous. It is gargantuan. Kerr has implemented an offense that creates space and movement, and opens up mismatches that Jackson did not. He counters and makes in game adjustments that Jackson never did.
You are LITERRALLY saying you don't follow golden state, and then arguing that Mark Jackson was just as good as Kerr. And hell, maybe it was his work that made this team so great. But you don't follow them, so you don't know the difference.
Do you see how stupid that is? Like, do you see the logical disconnect?
Just say: I like to argue on the internet. Because you are bringing zero facts to the conversation. Like what if Mark Jackson was really the best coach ever, and actually could have played, and been better than steph that year, but just didn't want to outshine the whole team?

Affalo will opt out probably bringing us to about $26 million. We can stretch Calderon which probably net us another $4 to $5 million. D. Will will more than likely opt out...by all means don't see anyone paying him* more than what he makes now at $5 million for an undersized one dimensional player. We can potentially have anywhere from $30 to $36 million to play with it...
We need backcourt help...I see Batum as a wing but because of his versatility can play the guard position. He's the prototypical triangle guy with great defense. But, he might be out of our price range. $17 million per is gracious enough, but max dollars is laughable.
One young player I'm intrigued with is Allen Crabbe from Portland. He has a nice stroke and a willing defender. I just don't see Portland being able to keep him. Now, he's a player I would pay base off his potential. Knicks should throw a 4yr deal at $60 million.
I won't even bring up Conley's name...but names that come to mind are Rondo and Brandon Jennings.
I would definitely consider Jennings at 3 yrs, $39 million....2nd yr team option. Probably much but everyone will get overpaid

Yeah, while jennings would certainly improve the team, just by being better than Calderon -- He's not the kinda player you wanna invest in. Not now.
