He's around 40% on 3PT this year and for his career and has a reputation for defense and professionalism around the league. Afflalo and O'Quinn's contracts are bargains given what a lot of comparable players are getting or are going to get with the cap increase around the league.
AA can be frustrating because of his tendency to chuck long two's and isolate but he's not that bad of a player honestly and I rather he return. Dude can shoot, post up, decent defender, decent passer, and can potentially lead a second unit.
Problem is who's going to break the news to him that he's now a 3 point specialist and not a gunner SG because it hurts the team. He's not a good enough shooter to be starting. AA thinks he's better than he is. A lot of 2's in the league have this issue.
