:skip: I think the thought at bringing Turner in is to make him that facilitator/Big Guard that Phil likes so much.

Yes Phil in todays league with lightning quick, athletic point guards a big one is exactly what we need. :martin:
No thanks

do i have to remind your mother fukkers AGAIN that p*ssy literally sat out of the playoffs when he could easily play

There's always some dude who's never played a sport at a high level, telling athletes when they can and can't play with injuries.

If you think he's trash, that's one argument. It's not accurate... but it's an argument. But the whole "he sat out" thing is so fukking played and false. It makes you look like you have some weird vendetta.

Anyway... the backcourt needs to be addressed this offseason. Knicks have been trash down the stretch, but Grant has been more aggressive (and also gotten more minutes) -- which is a good thing. Might as well let him learn.

you know everything huh pal
there is no vendetta...i went along for the ride too when linsanity was around
it's been corny...im a fan of a franchise not a player
having jeremy lin on this roster or any roster in the past 3 years would not have made a huge difference in the outcomes of the season
we wouldve been trash last year, this year, clapped up and gunned quick in 2013 too.
everytime he puts up numbers...nikkas come out of the wood work hyping him up like he had some sort of massive game changing potential
people still have those rose colored febuary of 2012 glasses on and it's tired
he wouldve been marginally better than felton...
i never called him trash....the way he handled things in 2012 was lame as fukk to me. TO ME...TO ME...ME. ME.
4 years later and we still talking about jeremy lin...:mjlol: 2016 we talking about this dude :mjlol:

:manny: I only responded to this weird idea that he faked an injury. Which is lame.

Beyond that -- he's been better that just about any guard we've had for the last three years, but the Knicks decided they didn't wanna pay the poison-pill section of that deal he was offered, and let him go.

Lin certainly would not have made the team all that much better. He wouldn't have helped against the Pacers in the playoffs, and he wouldn't get us into the playoffs this season. Plus there was some obvious resentment from players about the amount of attention (and money) he was getting at the end of the season, and that offseason. That being said, he would help now, at a time when our backcourt is super trash.

But there's such a weird anger on this board for Lin, I find it hilarious. He is (unfortunately) probably one of the five or 8 best players that has played for this team in the last 4 years.

The reason he comes up whenever he plays well is simple:
  • He was responsible for one of the most exciting stretches of Knicks basketball in the last 5 years
  • The knicks could have kept him, but decided to let him go for over a relatively low amount of money
  • The Knicks guards have continued to be super trash
  • Fans who don't like Melo latched onto him quick, like he was the antidote

He's still a solid guard, who's shot 35-36% from three over the last three years, gets to the line at a decent clip, shoots 80% from there, and turns the ball over too much. A solid guard off the bench for (currently) $2 Million a year.

thats the most annoying part
hes been on 4 teams in 4 years:mjlol:
i know times are hard, but god damn
jeremy lin in not the answer
his exciting stretch lasted 5 games lol partly because no one know who the fukk he was and took him lightly
it was a good little story but thats it
every now and then he has a stand out game, and these people come out the works with the 'i told you so" talks:mjlol:

give it a break

knicks were fine until they fine and on the right track without him until they traded for bargs
simple as that
