Durant has Westbrook and Westbrook has Durant, both haven't won a ring, I know both have been further than Melo. Two superstars and Max players.

Lebron has Love and Irving, and had Wade and Bosh. All superstars and Max players.
Duncan had Ginobilli, Parker, Kawhi and now Aldridge. All superstars and all star players.
Curry has Klay and Green. All "superstars" and max players.
Harden has dwight and dwight has Harden. Never amounted to anything either.

And all these players at one point or another are considered top 5 and top 10 players playing together. For yrs Melo's 2nd option was JR Smith.

It's not that I hate Melo, it's just that it simply doesn't benefit Melo or the Knicks for that matter to stick it out here.

What is the value? Can Carmelo win a ring in the next 3 years on this team? Be realistic, Melo will be in YEAR 16...Melo will be :flabbynsick: by then.

If Phil can get players here, its possible. We'd atleast be in contention
I just want one year when Melo has a solid all around team that has another superstar player on it with him. One year. He hasn't had that and it's bullshyt. The only year IT was close we won 54 games. Our second leading scorer was jr smith off the bench

He isn't the Melo a few years ago but he still a lot left in the tank. Again, he's leading the team in points rebounds and assists. Give him a couple players that can ease the pressure off him and he still has atleast another good 2 years in him.

But if Phil is not gonna not do his job and continue to surround him with these whatever players, then it's not helping anything

Similar to a cory joseph player in that he could be a solid contributor but he probably won't ever excel at any one thing. He can shoot the 3 and make mid range shots so skill wise he could be the triangle PG. If the plan isn't to get Lawson I hope they take a flyer on this kid just because he's cheap as fukk anyway and jimmer aint getting no burn.
