The fact he didn't trade for Beverly and drafted KP makes him the most competent GM the Knicks have had in a long time.
If they ever trade for Melo and get assets back that move will also be looked upon highly since the other option was let him walk for nothing

I always wondered why we never got Patrick Beverly. I think Zach Lowe wrote a great article about his benefits ( Good defense, respectable three point shooter). He wouldn't have to do much in the triangle offense. There has to be a trade for him. I think he fits well!

Donnie Walsh got us prime amare and prime carmelo in 2 years. Would have got is prime Chris Paul too if Dolan didn't give away all our assets in melo trade
Glen build on this and got us the 6th man of the year (jr smith ) defensive player of the year In his prime ( tyson Chandler) veterans who could still play and had leader ship (kidd, Kenyon) and some underground gems (cope land, Novak, and prigs) I don't no what he was smoking with the Bargs trade but regardless he did a good job overall

They brought in real players with proven track records. Our team is full of castaways should of been'a and unsung Heros. And our record reflects that. Melo is gonna lose it any day now
Zingis was a good pick up but his advisor had to beg him to take him. He gets credit for it regardless but we really out here giving Phil credit for turning down bad trades instead of actually doing something productive
His biggest free agent up is robin Lopez

I don't think Galloway is as good defensively as Beverly. Also Galloway isn't as consistent as Beverly. Again he's only on his second year.

I already said bargani trade by glen was trash. He is not perfect either , but overall constructed a 54 win team thst got to second round and could of went further if not for injuries
To summarize
Walsh - prime melo prime amare=ends 6 year playoff drought
Glen- prime Chandler fresh off a ring , prime 6 man of the year jr smith, Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin- ends 9 year winning a series drought. Win 54 games
