Tim Frazier is a player I have no clue about...shouldn't have cancelled my league pass. Sidenote: Herring's latest article is about moving Calderon to the off ball guard position and I'm starting to think dude is really reading my ish because it's another line of thought I been preaching for a long time (Grant and Calderon; Galloway and AA as the rotations).

Let's him play the important Jason Kidd role that made us so good in 2012.

Danny Ainge: Celtics came close on possible blockbuster, could revisit in summer

Ainge later added: "We were willing to do one deal, it just didn't happen. Both teams weren't ready to go and it was a really tough, close deal. It was certainly not a no-brainer. There was risk on both sides. But, at the end of the day, both teams were not ready to do it."

Completely guessing here but that sounds like the Melo to Cleveland deal.

It could still happen this summer too.... Hell it would be a lot more likely considering Melo has a 8 mil trade kicker this summer and it would basically be bound and doubt Klove/Lebron is championship material if they get beat badly in the finals again.

Also reading the article you get the feeling Ainge thinks the same thing.

I don't see Melo going out like that, I believe he's here to stay...

You never know, 3 years out the playoffs, 8 mil trade kicker, the summer to enroll your kids in new schools properly..... It's not beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Also for Knicks they could sell it a lot easier since they would be getting a top drafted player instead of just a couple of picks.
