Re signing melo was the right move

And besides my last comment ( which is probably true just can't be proven :mjpls:)
What did I say that was incorrect

The Vujacic signing and hiring Fisher over veteran coaches were 100% mistakes. The rest of those points you mentioned I can at least see the rationale behind those deals even though they didn't pan out how Phil wanted them to.

the reality is this
Just like fisher was a first time coach, Phil is a first time president/GM. He's learning on the fly and really has no idea what he is doing. He tries playing those zen games with other gms and free agents and he's hit with the dial tone :mjlol:

He keeps saying we have no assets like it's not his job to get us some, he's shytting on his own signings :what:

And what exactly was the rationale behind trading Dalembart for Chandler and getting jose :what:
Jose been one of the worst pgs long before the knicks signed him why would that change here?

And I agree that Chandler needed to go but for Dalembart :what:

He played for half a season, got cut and never played again

Rationale behind trades and signings don't matter, just results. If it fails it's on him just like if he succeeds he's taking the credit.

Phil hasn't done anything the Avg gm in the league couldn't do for this team. Nothing special whatsoever

Most important thing about this game is seeing how well Melo moves after that break. If he's got his lift back and his lateral movement is there, we have a puncher's chance at catching a late seed between Butler out and a couple of teams ahead of us having to implement new players in key roles. We'd need teams to fall off or hit ruts, Melo to stay healthy this time and Rambis to be above average...one of the three, I like the odds...two of the three, I wouldn't bet the house on...all three, someone should prolly sell their soul for the cause. Who we volunteering fam?

Tim Frazier is a player I have no clue about...shouldn't have cancelled my league pass. Sidenote: Herring's latest article is about moving Calderon to the off ball guard position and I'm starting to think dude is really reading my ish because it's another line of thought I been preaching for a long time (Grant and Calderon; Galloway and AA as the rotations).

"Nothing special whatsoever??" Finding franchise caliber players like Porzingis is the most difficult task as a NBA GM and Phil did it in his second year when he couldn't absolutely miss on(Glen Grunwald :comeon:). :heh:
Chandler trade got them Larkin (18th overall pick in 2013 draft), Early (34th overall pick in 2014 draft and was projected to be a late first rounder that year) and Thanasis (Greek Freak's bro). All three of them were 24 or younger were at that time and Jackson traded them for an aging, disgruntled veteran and Felton. You may have a legitimate gripe with including Calderon in the deal, but he was viewed as a perfect fit for the triangle. O'Quinn has been awful, but he only accounts for less than 5% of the actual cap space and still might be salvageable if the coach actually gives him consistent minutes.
