@Gil Scott-Heroin @Malta @I.V. Knicks fans need your thoughts on coach Fisher. Have the fans been unfairly hypercritical of Fish who has a very limited, flawed roster or has the criticism of the coach been justified with the team slowly falling out of the playoff race due to his ineptitude? Is he utilizing KP, Jerian Grant and other young Knicks the right way and to their best of their abilties? How you grade his job coaching this team this year? and should the Knicks look into hiring another coach next year if they fail to make the playoffs?
I see Phil as more of the problem than Fisher. He seems to be playing an old man's game, and hasn't caught up with the direction the league is already well ensconced in. Fisher is out of his depth trying to lead a team which isn't built to run the triangle, has poor guard play and players who can't create their own shots on the regular; nevermind the fact his poor in-game adjustments, futile rotations and general lack of understanding of his players' strengths and weaknesses only exaggerate the shytty ass makeup of the squad. The team has absolutely no identity whatsoever, and seems like it's just in asset-collecting mode until it can land a star FA; which in that time Melo's best days will be well behind him.

Exactly...why I keep saying that Melo should bounce. Not cool for him to be in this spot

I was expecting a better game. So what happened? Who do you guys blame? I don't get to watch the Knicks or come in this thread often, But it just looks like they don't care. Very sloppy, 20 point deficit and Carmelo is smiling and laughing instead of rallying the troops. Has he mailed it in? Or was he just never the leader?

It's possible, and I'd take Lue over Blatt. Blatt was trash. People who cape for him are so blinded by racist media propaganda (who is only yapping because the Afrikan took the Euro's place) that they can't see that having the most talented roster in the Association and Lj averaging nearly a triple-double in the Finals was the reason for their success, not Blatt's masterful ability to call time outs that he didn't have in playoff games. :scusthov:
How do the Knicks fans continue to put up with your nonsense? :heh:

Yall should know..I'm not a hater..
But real talk.. yall aren't a good team.. firing fisher wouldn't change anything... legit yall got 2 players.. one being a rookie that you can actually expect anything from.. those games where affallo and Williams go crazy are far and few between and you see why those players have been on multiple teams.. unless yall trade for Jennings . (Which I wouldn't do) the roster isint made up to go to the playoffs right now :ld:

Same point I made in my edit to @Mr. Jack Napier.

Melo and KP should have been sitting until they were HEALTHY. Both guys got hurt and rushed back, neither guy has been good since. No team can survive it's top two players vanishing on it. I don't have any idea what's up with AA either. The team's entire identity has been dependent on those three. They thrive off of those guys and now that they can't feed off the play of those three, it's pretty much hopeless. We coulda struggled for a couple of weeks and at least had healthy players later. If management didn't care about the playoffs or winning, then they should have never let those two come back so quickly.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
And they're not beating The Grizzles tomorrow night either.

The triangle can still be very effective as seen by the fact the Warriors run it, the issue is that the Knicks don't have the personnel for it and they are too rigid in the fact that it's basically all they run.

you nikkas need to shut the hell up with this trade melo talk
who the fukk is trading for melo at this point.....what team in TITLE contention is going to give up the necessary assets to warrant a melo deal
i dont want a first round pick from a team worth a damn cause the pick will be at the bottom of the first round...miss me with that dumb shyt
blake griffin is NOT coming here.
you nikkas just love blaming melo for everything but have no realistic answers.
these nikkas would be 5 and 45 without him...and i dont want kristaps to fester around and "develop" in a even more toxic losing environment....fukk around and have no hope for better days
shut the fukk up about melo...he's far from the biggest problem on this team.

Thank you.

Phil fukked up big time by letting his ego get in the way. Should have just parted ways and got whatever assets he could in return. But I'm sure y'all have already gone over this many a time.

I still believe that Phil is trying to pull off some Pat Riley like BOSS move behind the scenes to get Durant and someone else on this squad. If that doesn't happen though

When Melo and KP were out against Boston, they shifted to a high pick and roll offense run by Grant and it was fun to watch. I have no clue why they just scrapped it, that was the most effective the bench has been since preseason.

Why are non Knicks fan always putting in their 2 cents. Worry about your own team. And stop tagging these cats like they're daddys and shyt.
